The opportunities and features of use multemedia of electronic training resources in education, in particular remote are considered. The specific functions of the given kind of training resources, their advantages and lacks are characterized. The offered recommendations allow more effectively to use such resources at the remote form of training, when there is no an opportunity of alive dialogue with the teacher. Also to pay attention attention that the application of the electronic textbooks is expedient only in a complex with other training systems, thus, not denying, and mutually supplementing the printed editions.
