Problems of automation of modular and rating control of knowledge of students for the purpose of introduction of effective remedies of distance learning are considered and analyzed. The algorithm of creation of the automated modular and rating system and its realization with application of modern information technologies is offered. The principles of definition of a rating and charge of points according to the discipline and teacher requirements, based on the automated information system of modular and rating control are formulated.
