This article covers issues related to the need of measurement uncertainty evaluation in the calibration of glass line standards. After determining the length of the measure scale directly measured in wavelengths of laser emission through automatic calculation of the interference fringes, and introduction of the correction on the refractive index of air, depending on the temperature, pressure and humidity, uncertainty sources are considered and the uncertainty budget at line standard measurement is made. The conclusions about the permissibility of the calibration of glass line standards with given parameters are made
