Traffic rate predictive control in wireless networks

The paper represents a method for traffic rate predictive control in wireless networks on the basis of a method for Hurst index evaluation. a method for Hurst index evaluation that can be used in traffic predictive control at transport layer of wireless networks. Such index is a basis for traffic fractality measure and can be used in innovative methods for traffic control for various types of computer networks. Moreover, it was proposed a method for Hurst index evaluation that can be used in traffic predictive control at transport layer of wireless networks. Such control is implemented at transport layer of wireless networks for a bottleneck link within the route of established connection. Based on monitoring of data flows within specified time interval, an analysis of their statistical characteristics, as well as their classification depending of Hurst index value, are being performed.
