The analysis of the possibility of using unmanned aerial vehicles has been carried to determine the spatial coordinates of an object.The expediency of using of а synthesized stereo system due to the motion of unmanned aerial vehicle has been substantiated. The potential accuracy of finding the spatial coordinates of an object has been picked taking into account the errors in the determination of adjacent points on the image and surveying equipment exterior orientation elements. The necessity of preliminary rejection of the received information and the usage of algorithms for fuzzy masking has been substantiated. As well as the necessity for clarification the exterior orientation elements. The requirements for the surveying conditions have been elaborated.
