Analysis of the correlation function of monochromatic optical radiation reflected by a statistically an uneven surface

Analyzes the correlation function monochromatic optical radiation reflected from a statistically uneven surface (rough surface). Analyzed the case when the target area is in the Fraunhofer zone. Written expression for finding the effective scattering cross section of a statistically homogeneous surface having a radius of correlation is significantly smaller than the investigated area. We derive the space-time correlation function of the rough surface of the reflected signal.
