Made brief description of the capacitance method and the functional block diagram of the developed device that is used for the selection of penetrant with optimal characteristics for capillary defectoscopy. Carried out metrological analysis of device by decomposition of total uncertainty on the the individual components due to structural and methodical features. Calculated values of components of the total measurement uncertainty. Presented conclusions about feasibility of developing the device.
