The possibility of using of cryogenic power plant on liquid nitrogen, which operates at ambient or lower temperatures, for military vehicles with reduced heat radiation has been considered. As a result, the special mechanisms become invisible in the infrared (IR) wavelengths. This makes it an invisible vehicle in modern military operations taking place at night and at distances that are inaccessible to visually-optical observation. A design of a light reconnaissance vehicle with a cryogenic propulsion system has been proposed.
