Mathematical modeling of the smoke spread inside buildings using cellular automata

The paper considers the modeling of smoke spread inside the building in two-dimensional space. Shows the main differences between cellular automata models, examples of their application in practice. Developed a mathematical model of the smoke spread and combustion products based on cellular automata in two-dimensional space for further use in a computerized firefighter training simulator.
