Basic properties of the laser impulsive sounding are considered: monochromaticity, coherentness, power, orientation and methods of the remote laser sensing, in basis of which to lie processes of co-operation of laser radiation with a matter: dispersion of Mi on aerosol particles; molecular Releevskoe dispersion; petticoat dispersion; fluorescence, including resonance; resonance absorption; differential absorption and dispersion, which allow to apply lidars in the systems and standards of armament and military technique namely: in the systems of локации, surveillance, aiming, visibility, aiming by a navigation, to control of parameters of radiation, chemical and meteorological secret service, exposure of battle, drastic poisonous and radio-active matters, sounding of terrene and relief, real-time, during the leadthrough of space, air, surface and submarine secret service, except for that application of the lidars systems to cause the change of quantitative and high-quality descriptions and parameters of armament and military technique, which promotes an operationability, efficiency of his application on the whole.
