The article deals with the description of the system for acoustic diagnosing of the heat power equipment units in the laboratory, realized as a stand. The specification of the hardware and structure of the software of the system which carries out preprocessing, measurement of correlation and spectral characteristics, laws of distribution, cumulant functions of diagnostic signals is given. Research of metrological characteristics of the system is carried out.
