The algorithm of optimal radiometric imaging in radiometric systems with the scanning antenna pattern is synthesized and investigated. The corresponding system block diagram is developed. Considering sophisticate technical realization of optimal algorithm it is proposed to use quasioptimal signal processing algorithm. It is shown that operation of spatial whitening which follows directly from the signal processing algorithm significantly increases angular resolution of the developed system. For the spatial whitening it is necessary to invert system ambiguity function.
