The materials of the article describe the problem of detecting the coordinates of bullet holes and marks of the laser transmitter on the background projection screen of multimedia shooting simulator. Algorithms for image processing and evaluation of the spatial coordinates of the observed levels are presenting. An assessment of the quantitative characteristics of algorithms is carried out by simulation. The best results in the detection of "holes" formed by small arms or detection of light spot formed by the laser beam weapons were shown by correlation processing methods and edge detection. The use of these algorithms in multimedia shooting simulator in practice is proposed.
