Interval analysis of mechanical structures based on genetic algorithms

The method of automation of process of interval analysis of mechanical structures based on technology of genetic algorithms is developed. The result of analysis is the structure with stable parameters. The example of interval analysis of the mechanical structure which is described by the system of linear equations with two unknowns (the crane) is shown. The basic concepts of the genetic algorithms theory (a gene; genotype; population; target function; operators of selection, transposition, mutation and reduction; criteria of break) are adapted to solution of the problem.
