Modeling and analysis of pulsatile blood flow pressure dynamics for stenosed vessel

Spatial dynamics of blood flow pressure in large vessel corrupted with stenosis is studied. The pressure field was obtained as solution to flow – structure interaction problem using the finite elements. The fact of significant inhomogeneity of the pressure field in stenosed area is confirmed. The accurate analytic model for the pressure mean-squared band width as well as the spacefrequency pressure spectrum model are proposed.
