Main problems in mobile augmented reality systems (MARS) development and exploitation have been considered, the special attention paid to the need to development of adaptive mechanisms to control of computing resources in such systems. The algorithmic model of resources control process has been proposed, this model provides structured information basis and uses case-based reasoning method for search of effective solutions in process of MARS’s parameters setting under conditions of changing computational loading in runtime. To prove and to estimate efficiency of the proposed approach the software prototype of the adaptive MARS was developed, and experimental research has been done.
