The article is dedicated to the use of interactive cognitive graphics in preparing students of technical specialties at higher educational institutions. Reviewed the development of cognitive graphics and its use in educational process as example of distance learning. Considered the variety of existing systems of education management, the advantages of Moodle, for use in the process of issuing training material by means of computer cognitive graphics. In the future, the possibility of cognitive graphics can be used to develop interfaces that will increase the level of the future engineers competence.
