Natural language communication as a process of “TEXT-SENSE” transformation

Omar A.H. Avadala
Annotations languages:

The process of using natural language as means for communication is considered. It is suggested to present communication texts either in expression aspect (surface structure) or in content aspect (text semantics or sense) and treat process of achieving mutual understanding between communication partners as series of text-to-sense and sense-to-text transitions. Formalisms for description of natural language as means for communication are justified.
