In paper proposed and implemented a development of the method of setting the parameters of the membership functions of fuzzy knowledge bases, based on classes of membership functions. This can significantly reduce the time settings in the knowledge oriented technologies. Experimental studies confirming close to a quadratic dependence of the computational complexity and the effectiveness of this approach for three basic types of membership functions on the set of terms of linguistic variables.
