On the basis of the tensor-mathematical campaign a theoretical basis of the elastic properties of the structure spindles machines in three-dimensional space was carried out. A tensor-geometrical model of spatial rigidity of the machine tool spindle unit in the cutting area in the form of an ellipsoid of stiffness was proposed. The model allows to determine the amount of deformation of the spindle from the current power load in any direction of workspace.
