In this article the usage of an area method was offered for determination of both time constant and attenuation constant of an accelerometer during its amplitude-frequency characteristic analysis. The systematic error of an identification of a time constant as well as of an identification of an attenuation constant was investigated. The ways of reducing such errors were considered. The standard deviation of both time constant and attenuation constant were estimated. There were offered ways of measurement optimization for reducing these standard deviation values. The recommendations on practical usage of the offered method were given.
