Symmetric ternary functions and their application in digital information processing

Place of orthogonal transforms was determined among the methods of analysis and synthesis of digital signals. Recurrence relation for symmetric ternary functions and graphs of these functions were given. The analytical expression for the orthonormal system of symmetric ternary functions was synthesized. Application of the developed orthonormal system for representation of informational flows using orthogonal transforms was analyzed. Further researches of orthogonal and wavelet transforms based on symmetric ternary mother wavelet were determined as promising.
