Reducing the total measurement uncertainty prover gas volume and volume flow rate reproduction

The process of reproduction of units of volume and volume flow rate of gas prover by ensuring the stability of the speed of movement of the movable part of the prover, the immutability of the cross-sectional area prover and control of high precision time measurement units. Reducing uncertainty reproduction is provided by the condition that the unit of time is measured by several orders more accurate than the geometric quantities carried, respectively, in the application of the proposed approach eliminates the need to measure the distance with a ruler. Experimentally tested this approach in gas piston prover developed by the State Enterprise "Ivano-Frankivskstandartmetrologiya".
