The perspective method of adaptive control by near-wall dynamics of turbulent flows using the micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) technology is considered. The advantages and disadvantages of passive and active control methods of turbulent exchange are reflected. The principles of organization and operation of MEMS have been analyzed, the priorities of mathematical models development of these systems on the base of the Large Eddy Simulation (LES) method have been determined. Depending on the level of MEMS system evolution the further implementation of several levels of complexity and of control strategies perfection are proposed.
