Improving fuel economy for the internal combustion engine of armored equipment and automobile vehicles

The article analyzes modern approaches to improve the fuel efficiency of internal combustion engines, reviews the structural materials for piston block internal combustion engine of basic samples of, armored equipment and automotive vehicles. It is concluded the prospects of using for intensification of fuel combustion and reduce toxic emissions oxide catalysts based on transition metals (Co, Mn) obtained by the plasma-electrolytic oxidation for structural materials piston block of ICE in particular high-alloy aluminum with silicon AK12M2MgN (AL25).
