Meteorological objects doppler spectrum width in coherent impulse meteorological radiolocator with probing pulse separation wobble evaluation peculiarities

Peculiarities of determining the width (W) of the Doppler velocity range (DVR) of meteorological formations (MF) by the method of "paired pulses" under various algorithms and evaluation conditions of modules of correlation coefficients (CC) signals reading reflected from MF in the pulse Doppler meteorological radiolocators with a spontaneous probing pulse separation wobble have been examined. It has been shown that in the probing pulse separation wobble regime the errors of W evaluation with the help of the algorithm using the averaged CC indices' modules increase in proportion to the average MF moving speed. The algorithm to address this shortcoming, based on a priori information about radial velocity of MF, has been offered.
