In paper performed determination and assessment parameter of energy efficiency of optical transport networks that use acousto optic switches and electro-optic modulators. Presented the influence change the orientation of the sample, that correspond to a maximum value of optic coefficients, on energy consumption of researched devices in depending from speed of transfer data. The determination parameter of energy efficiency performed for two regimes of data transfer taking into account the topology transport optical networks. The assessment of energy efficiency performed with using developed mathematical and simulation models for researched devices.
