The physical interpretation of the possibillity of technical realization of the VF-transformations for spectral wave analysis, and space-temporal processing of ultrawideband fields is given. VF-transformation are reversible and do not require the conditions of quasi-monochromatic approximation (so called narrowband in space-time domains). Based on the study of these transformations directional characteristics of ultra-wideband antenna systems are considered. It determines their resolution by angular coordinates in the problems of spatially extended objects imaging.
