The paper developed a method of calculating the fields scattered by structural elements of drone aircraft. The method takes into account the interaction of a multilayer dielectric shell with an inner perfectly conducting object, and the contribution of dielectric elements to the general field based on methods of short-wave diffraction. The model of the drone is designed, which combines elements of both metallic and multilayer dielectric shell. We obtained the simulation results and analyzed the scattering characteristics of drone model elements for different illumination angles.
