Parameter optimization for antenna system spherical radome of the missile homing head in ehf

The paper is devoted to thickness determination of spherical ceramic radome for missile homing head. It has carried out for antenna power gain maximum achievement. As antenna model, we use the model of aperture antenna which cutout in ideally absorbing screen. Taking into account big electrical dimensions of antenna system such approach is reasonable. The calculation method has been proposed for field excited by radiating aperture at the presence of arbitrary scatterer system (particularly, radome). Using proposed method the calculation results for radiating characteristics of antenna system model with radome have been obtained for different values of radome thickness and its permeability.
