DEVELOPMENT OF A MODIFIED BACKFILL METHOD FOR CONSERVATIVE RESERVATION

This paper proposes a modified Backfill method for job distribution with conservative reservation with traffic parameters, which takes into account the intensity and volume of data flow between tasks in the job, that allows to increase efficient use of the GRID-system by reducing the execution time of jobs in pool. Method is implemented in the GRASS simulation environment for further analysis of the distribution plans and find the best distribution for a particular job pool.
