For efficiency improvement in the launch systems of helicopter's gas turbine engine, the use of zero-current switching quasi-resonant pulse converters. The proposed converters have high efficiency and low electromagnetic interference level. The use of brushless DC motors instead of typical DC motors is proposed due to high values of efficiency, and explosion-security.
