Multiple characteristics of geospatial information and geoinformations systems are considered. Specific features of formations of taxonomic structures are determined on the basis of using the hyperrelations of multiple ordering between objects GIS. The rules for the formation of an ontological GIS based on the formation of untyped multiple λ-descriptions are described. Their influence on the formation of various taxonomic structures and categories of ontological GIS is determined. Examples of the formation of an ontological GIS are given. Functional properties of multiple characteristics of ontological GIS are described.
