The analysis of wingtip devices and nature of the influence of the geometrical parameters of wingtip devices for the aerodynamic characteristics is presented. The features of a flow structure nearest wingtips with different types of wingtip devices are represented. The conclusion about the urgency of investigation influence of wingtip devices for the aerodynamic characteristics of wings is made for a small-sized unmanned aircraft vehicle flight at low Reynolds numbers.
