The known quality indicators of the segmentation of optical-electronic images are analyzed. The estimation of complex indicators of segmentation quality of the optoelectronic image obtained from the aircraft side was carried out. It was proposed to use the information indicator - Kulbak-Leibner distance - to evaluate segmentation quality. Calculations of the Kulbak-Leibner distance are made using the evolutionary method of segmentation of the optoelectronic image and the scale of the original image.
