Evaluation and prediction of chemical composition in the production of cast iron

The article proposes a method for estimating and forecasting the silicon content in cast iron at the blast furnace output, using a neuron-fence approach, free from the drawbacks of classical methods, and allowing to increase the accuracy and reliability of information on the chemical composition of cast iron.
