One of the tasks of logistical support is the task of planning the supply of material and technical means by road. It is established that the solution of the routing problem is caused by the large complexity of the dimension, which does not allow the existing methods of traffic planning to find the exact solution or the solution can be found for an unreasonably long time. A method for determining the route of movement of vehicles for the supply of material and technical means has been developed. As a method of determining the route of vehicles, the simplest meta-heuristic method is considered - the ant method. The calculation of the amount of pheromone on each route of the vehicle and the probability of further choice on the route are carried out. The main advantages and disadvantages of the method are determined.
