Solution of specific problems of electromagnetic compatibility and jame-protection of army air-defence radiotechnical means

Description: The article describes one of the methods for ensuring the electromagnetic compatibility of radio-electronic systems (RES) and means by using a number of organizational and technical measures based on the formation of a card-monographs for a particular radar complex and radar facilities that are locates near the position. The analysis of the structure of radar units that are part of the Army air defense forces has been carried out, and their main problems of electromagnetic compatibility have been identified. To solve these problems, a graphoanalytical method is applied. Potentially incompatible by the frequency criteria are that RES, which works on coincident (or close to their values) operating frequencies, at which there is at least partial overlapping of operating frequency bands (taking into account undesired transmitter emissions and receiving on the side channels). In goal of potentially incompatible RES definition (according to the frequency criteria), this is necessary to evaluate electromagnetic compatibility according to energetic criteria. Consideration of the energy criteria is to determine the power of jamming signals from the source of unintentional interference at the input of the radar station receiver. The result of applying this method is the development of proposals for frequency-territorial diversity (allocation). The proposed method can be used in the analysis of the deployment capabilities of Army air defense radar units, including in the operating area of the antiterrorist operation (ATO - zone).
