Description: An effective solution to the selection of candidates for positions in production and other divisions is one of the determining factors in any field of human activity. Selection is the process of researching the candidate's personality and making a decision on the conformity of his knowledge and skills, as well as the professionally important qualities of a particular activity. The imperfection of the existing methodological apparatus of selection is due to the fact that it uses rather complex mathematical approaches, based on known expert methods. The approach to the decision of a professional selection problem for acceptance of personnel decisions with application of an expert method of an assignment of points of a four-point scale of the order and the modified concordance coefficient for construction of ranked lists of any objects of comparison is considered. This coefficient is also suitable for establishing consistency of the results of expert evaluation, the level of preparedness of an individual specialist or production unit for the fulfillment of tasks within the team. The use of the modified concordance coefficient makes it possible to significantly reduce the computational complexity of the method for making personnel decisions.
