Description: The article analyzes the literature on the influence of electromagnetic radiation (EMR) on the human body. It was noted that the most dangerous for humans are microwave radiations (MWI) of radar, microwave relay stations of microwave frequency (microwave) range. It is emphasized that radar stations of the airfield survey have disadvantages: insufficient discrimination of long and closely located objects due to the presence of "brilliant points", the identification of their work by radio reconnaissance and suppression by the electronic countermeasures (RE) system. Therefore, in the article it is proposed to perform functions of the flight field survey with the help of a passive millimeter-wave radiotelplotor whose operation principle is based on the fact that any physical body with a thermodynamic temperature above absolute zero, capable of emitting electromagnetic energy in a wide spectral range, in particular, in a millimeter wave band. The article also presents theoretical calculations and experimental studies that indicate that the level of the received signal depends on the contrast of the target-background radio brightness, the surface area of the object and its shape, the range and angle of observation, the receive antenna's antenna pattern, the height of its rise , the sensitivity of the radiometric receiver, the conditions for the propagation of waves in the millimeter range in the atmosphere.
