Description: The method of estimation in the conditions of non-stochastic uncertainty of the expediency of making decisions about the belonging of the unit (unit) to the grouping of the Air Forces during operations (combat operations) is proposed. The methodology provides for the consideration of a methodical approach to assessing the appropriateness of belonging to the content of an operation, by examining, for example, a military operation, a model of weapons with a view to applying it to its intended purpose. The concept as the main design of the study is presented by the linguistic variable "the expediency of using a sample of an anti-aircraft missile system (AA missile system) in a military operation as intended". The problem - the evaluation of the reliability of the application of the AA missile system of an operation for its intended purpose is represented by its decomposition into a hierarchy. Vectors of the advantages of factors of each level of decomposition of a problem into a hierarchy correspond to the eigenvectors of matrices of binary relations of factors of each level that ensure unambiguousness of their definition. The vector of advantages of the adopted fuzzy variables of the linguistic variable is determined by the accepted concept of hierarchy analysis. The functions of belonging to fuzzy subsets that correspond to fuzzy variables of a linguistic variable are represented by linear dependencies as fuzzy triangular numbers, and bell-shaped forms. The content of the methodology and its operability are given on the example of the definition of clear subsets as the levels of expediency of making decisions on whether the operation of weapons samples is relevant to the content of a fuzzy set of fuzzy subsets of the corresponding fuzzy values of a linguistic variable.
