Implementation of the integrated distributed system of modeling in the system of collective training of aircraft staff of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Description: The subject of the article is the process of combat training of the Air Forces units of the Ukraine Armed Forces, the subject of consideration is the introduction of an integrated, distributed simulation system into the system of collective training of the Air Forces. The purpose of the work is to formulate proposals to increase the effectiveness of the measures of collective training of the aviation control bodies of the PS of the Ukraine Armed Forces at tactical level. During the study, systematic, conceptual and empirical approaches were introduced. The article considers the preconditions for the emergence of a collective component in the combat training system of the personnel of the Air Force aviation units. The analysis of the application of simulation of combat operations systems into the process of combat training of the armed forces of the leading countries of the world is carried out. The experience of creating separate elements of the prototype of the Ukrainian integrated distributed system of simulation of combat operations of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the perspective directions of its further development is presented. On the basis of the analysis of the results of the collective training with the air squadron management bodies, both positive and negative aspects in the organization, provision and conduct of its activities have been identified. Positive consequences were: first, the complex system "Virage" was used for detailed planning of combat operations of aviation at tactical level; secondly, the leadership of the aviation units got acquainted with the possibilities of using the training simulator system and its influence on the effectiveness of the decisions made in the course of planning of combat operations; thirdly, new forms of joint training of aviation units with the use of domestic means of simulation, which is unique for the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, are introduced. The proposals for further development of simulation modeling and increasing the effectiveness of collective training activities have been developed. The field of application of the research results is the aviation unit’s collective component of the combat training process of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in carrying out tasks for its intended purpose.
