Increasing informativity of radar stations type 5N84A

Description: It is proposed to increase the informativeness of the 5N84A radar by implementing the so-called goniometric method of measuring the height of detected air objects on a modern digital element base. The method envisages hidden phase scanning of the resulting directional pattern in a vertical plane in the mode of reception by the change of amplitude-phase distribution in the vertical antenna aperture. The variant of the structural scheme of the system for measuring the height of detected air objects for the radar station 5N84A is given.
