Description: Discusses general directions that it is advisable to take into account during improvement of the automated control systems of the artillery ground troops of the ARMED FORCES of Ukraine. The modern level of development of computing, communications and data transmission, information technology opens broad opportunities for automation of management processes. Existing mathematical methods allow us to formalize the basic tasks of management. All this creates the prerequisites for successful development and implementation of KAU artillery parts and units. New forms and ways of application, adoption of new militarystrategic conceptions of the late 20TH-early 21st century greatly increased the attention of military-political leadership by leading the military against NATO members to management issues The armed forces at all levels and especially at the level of the mouth (battery)-battalion (Division) in the article the analysis of foreign designs automated control systems (ACS) for artillery units and evolution of their development.
