Description: The analysis of existing filtering systems of the NATO and Russian Federation states, which protect the personnel and the population from various types of chemically hazardous substances, is carried out. It is established that there are no such filters that protect against these substances. Therefore, it is proposed to retrofit the design of collective defense systems for armored vehicles and stationary objects by additional installation of a lattice (grid) with a deposited layer of catalytic material in the filter-absorber that will neutralize various types of chemically hazardous substances due to photocatalytic air purification by titanium oxides.
