Description: The work analyzes the automation of the processes of collecting, transmitting, transforming, processing and displaying information about the air situation at the command and control tower at the management of flights of state aviation by the flights manage group. The degree of automation of the information-hardware support of the flights manage group in prospective automated control systems for aviation flights in the air base nearby zone is determined. The structure of construction of a prospective automated control system for flights of state aviation in the air base nearby zone is considered.It is substantiated the expansion of the functional capabilities of equipment of modern air traffic control points in the area of the aerodrome. The need to automate the processes of collecting, processing and displaying decision support information (issuing recommendations on the actions of the flight control group in special cases of flights, in the event of conflict situations, the sequence of approach, etc.); dynamic meteorological information (imposition of dangerous meteorological contours on the current air situation (local map), prognosis of weather information, weather fax maps, etc.); reference information (regulatory legal acts, technical and operational documentation) and planned information (summarized tables of preliminary information of the flight plan, correction of the planned space-time trajectory of aircraft traffic) is determined.
