The artical studied the effect of preliminary plastic deformation on the characteristics of cyclic crack resistance of titanium alloy. The regularities of cracks change forms while being under periodic load were established. Dependences of the threshold stress intensity factor on the parameters of obtaining crack, condition of guaranteed fatigue crack, the effect of crack loading parameters on the velocity of its progress, were established. The practical recommendations on the influence of the transverse permanent deformation on the value of crack depth and velocity of propagation of the crack were presented.
