Mathematical model for determining the battle functioning of a block protection obstacle

Description: To ensure the vitality of important objects, such as bridges, overpasses, base areas, roadblocks, checkpoints, entry and exit points, and others, the complex implementation of measures for fortification equipment and arrangement and maintenance of engineering barriers is achieved. One of the fastest and most effective ways to achieve the goal of these measures is to use block barriers made of durable materials. Block barriers have protective and barrier properties and are an alternative tool in difficult soil conditions and in conditions of limiting the use of mine and explosion barriers. The modeling of the process of influence on the block barrier obstruction of enemy firearms and the capabilities of the units defending and using it to defeat enemy firearms during counter fire, as well as the restoration of the combat state of enemy firearms after failure. The mathematical model on the influence of enemy firearms, mainly of shock type, is presented with the purpose of destroying block barriers from durable mate-rials at roadblocks and checkpoints occupying units defending them in combat areas. The mathematical model, in contrast to the existing ones, takes into account the probability of failure of enemy firearms due to the impact of counter defense units and using block barriers during the counter fire, and the probability of restoration of the enemy state of firearms. The proposed mathemati-cal model is based on the use of semi-Markov processes. The mathematical model given in the article allows to answer a number of questions concerning the combat functioning of the system, in particular, regarding the time of staying in the corresponding set of states, the time of combat functioning of the enemy's firearms until the moment of their combat state loss and block obstacle until its destruction.
