Description: The modern development of the tribology and especially such a section as tribomaterialology has allowed formulating a new rather effective way of reducing friction and wear in various tribosystems as a result of tribomodification of the surface layer. The purpose of this work is a comparative analysis of the mechanisms of self-organization of tribosystems, which operate under condi-tions of normal mechanochemical and abnormally low friction and wear to determine the physical nature of the mechanisms of self-organization of a tribosystem operating in these conditions. Theoretical and experimental studies of tribosystems that operate under conditions of abnormal friction and wear when external conditions of their work are changed are presented. A comparative analysis of the mechanisms of self-organization of tribosystems, which operate under conditions of normal mechanochemical and abnormally low friction and wear, is carried out in order to determine the conditions for transition to such a regime. Another possible method of transfer of tribosystems to conditions of abnormally low friction and wear by the modification of the surface layer of bronze samples by finishing the mineral of the group of amphiboles (nephritis) is determined. It is determined that self-regulation under conditions of abnormally low friction and wear in a tribosystem occurs through the channel of structural entropy. Using the technology of modifi-cation of the surface layer of bronze samples by finishing the mineral with a group of amphiboles (nephrite) allows you to change the rheological construction of the surface layer, which can be described by the Shvedov model, and makes it possible to convert the energy brought up from the outside by a wave channel (the presence of the wave component of external friction). Structural self-organization in achieving an abnormally low friction and wear is aimed at maintaining such a mode of operation of the tribosystem by structuring the surface layer, aimed at maintaining maximum reliability of work.
