Description: The article developed a of search of rational composition of forces and facilities of radiation, chemical, biological defence of air command . The use of network diagrams quite fully reflects the performance of individual operations (works) in time, as well as the relationship and interconnection between these operations (works). This determines the appropriateness of using network sched-ules in the work of the command and control bodies of the radiation, chemical, biological defense troops and requires the applica-tion of an appropriate technique. The methodology is based on network planning methods, the main purpose of which is to minimize the duration of radiation, chemical, and biological protection measures. Evaluation of the effectiveness of the implementation of radiation, chemical, biological protection measures depends on the quality of the implementation of its components. The article has developed a phased methodology for optimizing the structure of the radiation, chemical, and biological protection system of the air command according to the criterion of the minimum time for carrying out activities with resource limitations. It is proved that the formalization of the optimization problem consists in the application of network planning methods, and the search for an extremum is performed using combinatorial optimization methods. This technique is intended to determine the rational structure of the forces and means of radiation, chemical, biological defense of the air command invariant to possible scenarios of radiation, chemical, biological conditions. The introduction into practice of the activities of the management bodies of network schedules can signifi-cantly increase the efficiency of organizing tasks and activities of radiation, chemical, and biological protection. Under these condi-tions, there is an urgent need for an adequate analysis and timely response of the command and control bodies of the radiation, chemical, and biological protection of the air command to changes in the situation, reasonable decisions made.
